Tabouli Salad Recipe

This is my favorite salad to eat! I love it, healthy, whole grain, fresh veggies!

1 1/2 cup of Bulgar wheat
1 cucumber (diced)
1 medium tomato (diced and de-seeded)
1/2 or 1/4 a lemon
2-3 Tbs olive oil
Parsley (flakes or fresh, chopped)
All spice
a drizzle of honey

Soak Bulgar wheat, parsley, salt and allspice in 1 cup of boiling water, covered for 30 minutes.
Add cucumber, tomato, olive oil, lemon and honey, stir and refridgerate for an hour of all night.
Eat and Enjoy :)

  1. Mmm.. We do it a bit different. More than a bit different lol. I love tabouli though.

    Funny side note: good thing my husbands family never puts cucumber (until a certain restraunt visit awhile back, the only place we'd seen cucumber in it was Greek restraunts) because he's allergic (is not why they don't, just works out in his favour). We went to a Lebanese restraunt here not thinking it would be an issue & both he & Kalila got so sick it wasn't even funny. Apparently she inherited the allergy :-(
